Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is located on the bank of the Red River in the northern section of the country. While not the largest city in the country, Hanoi has had a rich history. It has been inhabited since 3000 B.C., and has served as the seat of government for nearly a thousand years. The city is nicknamed the "city of lakes," and the lakes are one of the attractions that many tourists visit. History buffs love visiting Hanoi as the city has more cultural and historic sites than any other in the country. Temples and pagodas are found on nearly every street within the city. Now follow Vietnam tour discovery favorite place.

Depart Ha Noi capital by road this morning for the start of your adventure. The drive to Ha Giang takes around 7 hours but is some of the most breathtaking scenery in Vietnam tour and along the way you will stop as often as you like to visit small villages and take photos.

This offers us ample opportunities to meet the locals and learn about their way of life. As the day progresses, we drive to various walking trails surrounded by magical hills and beautiful villages.

Around sunset, we arrive at the township of Ha Giang. After the long drive, stretch your legs with a short walk around Ha Giang to a Tay village, set in a picturesque valley near town. Overnight in Ha Giang.

    Lunch at Yen Minh.
From Yen Minh to Meo Vac, road gets steeper and the mountains show a single color of black rocks. At Meo Vac, we'll have some time walking around the town and get to know the daily life of the communities here by visiting a H'mong Village. Then continue our adventure over the challenging Ma Pi Leng Pass into the fabled world of Dong Van. We'll need a couple of hours at Ma Pi Leng to get your camera stuffed with the sublime and unrivaled beauty of the pass before rolling our way down hill to Dong Van Town.
